BARBERITOS NAMED BEST BURRITO IN ATHENS 15 CONSECUTIVE YEARS
Local Southwestern Grille & Cantina continues to win hearts of Athens natives
Athens, Ga. (August 27, 2017) – For the 15th year in a row, Barberitos took home first place in the “Burritos” category during the 2017 Readers’ Choice Awards held by the “Athens Banner-Herald.” This year’s results were released on August 27.
For 2017, the Readers’ Choice Awards included contestants among categories that included Best in Dining, Shopping, Service, People and Entertainment. Once voting ended, the organization reported that nearly 40,000 votes had been collected.
“Being named ‘Best Burrito’ for the 15th year in a row is a huge honor for Barberitos and everyone involved,” Owner and CEO Downing Barber said. “We’re grateful for the continued support from our customers here in Athens, as well as those who continue to make our other locations a success too.”
Other Athens-based competitors in the “Best Burritos” category for 2017 included a variety of chain and local restaurants.
